I finally finished, with great
sadness, the last book of
"The Hunger Games" trilogy.

DH and I went on a date and had some
yummy Mexican food.

The movies was "okaaay"...I just felt that it was
too predictable and they tried to make it funny
but flopped at it....oh well.
DH found and bought a 1942 Kenmore sewing machine
for me...and it was only $40!!!
The machine works, though DH says he's still going
"update" the wiring. He's also going to sand it and
paint it....I'm thinking mustard color?
I don't think I will use the actual sewing machine,
but instead replace it with mine and probably
display the old one somewhere else.
We shall see.
I watched the Super Bowl...
actually, I lied, I was watching the
commercials....GUILTY! :)

I can't wait to read the hunger games trilogy. I also read all the stephanie plum books. I am looking forward to seeing one for the money but I am not holding my hopes too high. It is hard for me to see a movie after I read the books. I usually love the books but end up tearing apart the movies.

I guess I need to start reading these books before the movie comes out... and I totally agree with you on the commercials you picked!!

ReplyDeleteYour sewing machine is awesome! What a great find! And I totally agree...the Doritos commercial had me laughing hysterically. The commercials definitely make sitting through the football game more enjoyable :) Glad that you had a nice weekend!
