I love them.
First it was blogging,
then sewing
and now I have gone onto
scrapbooking
(DH spoiled me with a cricut for my bday)
and I cannot tell you how great of a
stress outlet it is.
(personally, I'm not counting reading because
I always read...make sense?)
Whenever I'm irritated or stressed I go upstairs,
shut the door to my "idea" room and
swarm myself with sewing ideas,
crafting ideas or blog thoughts.
In the end,
I forget I'm stressed out.
I'm not a pro at any of them,
but at the same time...
you don't have to.
As long as you love doing
these hobbies...
that's all that really matters.
Do you have hobbies? What are they?
Does it help you de-stress?

I love hobbies! I don't know if it counts but I've been an avid video gamer for a couple of years now. I'm also starting to get into cooking more--I'd like to do something artsy, I just haven't found it yet!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you completely, I feel so much less stressed out if I can sit down and work on a project: make a meal, finish a level in my game, whatever. It gives me something to focus on rather than whatever is getting to me at the time.
I write to de-stress! I can write anything, cards, letter, stories, blog posts, and it all helps me to feel better.
