Nail Polish Storage

This summer I have gone from 4 nail polishes

to somewhere close to 20, and I don't 

think its going to stop. 

My medicine cabinet was getting too overcrowded

and those nail polishes kept falling out. 

I looked online for nail polish storage ideas, but

they where too space consuming.

I went to Joann's last week and they 

where having a sale on storage items. 

SCORE!

I bought one of those "snap 'n stack" with

the idea that my nail polishes would

fit perfectly...

WRONG.

They fit, but they fit laying down. 

At first I didn't care if they were lying down, 

but then I realized why you shouldn't lay them down...

THEY LEAK.

So, off to Joann's I went again and got the biggest "snap 'n stack"

 they had...the ribbon dispenser.

DIY: The Boxy Clutch

Here's my first sewing tutorial, so please bare with me.

I wanted to do something fun and yet simple. So, if you're a beginner 

sewer this is perfect for you.

I tried to make the tutorial as simple as possible with sufficient pictures and fewer words.

(that may be due to the fact that I'm more of a visual learner)

Let's get our "sewing on".

Gather your supplies:

Let's start with the strap...

sewing the strap...

set aside the strap and grab the zipper and 

one piece of exterior fabric and one piece of the 

lining fabric....

and now, grab the remaining pieces of fabric...

grab the strap...

we are almost there.

and you're done!!!
